He replaces Rob\nBennett, who will be returning to Nova Scotia in the newly created position of\nExecutive Vice President, Revenue and Sustainability of Nova Scotia Power\nInc.(NSPI) NSPI and BHE are wholly owned subsidiary of Emera Inc.\n\n\nMr. Hanf was previously General Counsel for Emera Inc., and has played a\nsignificant role in Emera's commercial transactions. Prior to joining Emera in\n2002, Mr. Hanf was a Partner in the law firm of McCarthy Tetrault LLP,\nspecializing in energy law.\n\n\nMr. Bennett has worked within the Emera group of companies for the past\n19 years. Before joining Bangor Hydro in 2002, he held a variety of positions\nat Nova Scotia Power including Regional Manager Northeast, Staff Engineer,\nProtection Engineer and Superintendent of Annapolis Hydro.
