This Report forms an integral part of the Board of Directors' report and is included in ElvalHalcor's 2024 Annual Report.\n \n \n 2024 was a significant year for ElvalHalcor, with the Company continuing its upward trajectory despite geopolitical challenges and prevailing uncertainty in international markets and the global economy. Remaining committed to its strategy and successfully implementing its business plan, ElvalHalcor delivered a strong performance.\n \n \n Aiming at the continuous improvement of the overall footprint of its production and products, ElvalHalcor presents its sustainability strategy, 2024 performance, and future goals.\n \n \n The Report is complemented by important initiatives and distinctions achieved during 2024:\n \n Double Materiality Assessment\n ElvalHalcor updated its double materiality assessment at the sector level to identify key impacts, risks, and opportunities. The process aligns with ESRS requirements and the consolidated results for the Group are published in the current disclosure.\n Scope 3 Emissions Reporting\n Building on its previous Sustainability Report, ElvalHalcor calculated Scope 3 emissions across all relevant categories in accordance with the GHG Protocol. This effort supports risk and opportunity evaluation across the value chain.\n Human Rights Due Diligence process\n Under the provisions and requirements of the EU Taxonomy Minimum Safeguards, ElvalHalcor has developed and performed a human rights due diligence process and procedure and assigned Human Rights Officers on both divisions.\n Participation in Climate Week NYC\n As a member of the Global Beverage Can Circularity Alliance (GBCCA), ElvalHalcor's aluminium rolling division participated in a panel on aluminium can recycling during Climate Week NYC.
