Elemental Minerals Ltd. - Identification of a Third Potash Seam and Further Increase in the Extent of the Kola Deposit Footprint

About this update from Element Lifestyle Retirement Inc.

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\nAll assay results for inclusion in the Phase 2 resource upgrade received\n\n\n\n\n\nPERTH, Australia, April 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Elemental Minerals Ltd. (ASX, TSX: ELM) (\"Elemental\" or \"the Company\") is pleased to announce\n that it has identified high grade potash in a 3rd seam at its Kola Deposit further increasing the extent of the\n footprint. The company is also pleased to report that all assay results\n from the Phase 2 drilling programme, scheduled for inclusion in the\n updated resource estimate of the Kola Deposit (Fig 1), have now been\n received. Results include high-grade (sylvinite) mineralisation in a\n seam previously known to contain only lower grade (carnallite)\n mineralisation located approximately 45m below the Lower Seam.\n\n\nHIGHLIGHTS:\n\n\nIntersections from EK_32 include:\n\n\n4.65m at 18.01% K2O (28.53% KCl) from 289.87m in the newly identified Footwall Seam (FWS)\n\n\nIntersections from EK_33 include:\n\n\nUpper Seam: 3.82 m at 22.51% K2O (35.64% KCl) from 272.06m\n\n\nLower Seam: 5.64 m at 10.89% K2O (17.25% KCl) from 278.91m\n\n\nIntersections from EK_35 include:\n\n\n5.27m at 17.85% K2O (28.27% KCl) from 264.03 in the newly identified Footwall Seam (FWS)\n\n\nIntersections from EK_36 include:\n\n\nUpper Seam: 4.65 m at 19.16% K2O (30.35% KCl) from 281.10m\n\n\nThese results will be the last that will be included in the Resource\n Estimate update. All data is currently compiled and validated for\n integration ready for the delivery of the updated Kola Deposit Mineral\n Resource estimate.\n\n\nThe Company has completed a total of 36 boreholes (Phase 1 and 2) for a\n total of 6,427m, of which 4 stopped short of the ore horizon due to\n in-hole technical problems (Figure 2). Of the 32 successful holes only\n 3 do not contain a significant potash interception (EK_02, EK_16,\n EK_25). Of the 29 boreholes that reached their target depth and contain\n significant potash mineralisation, complete assay results have been\n received for all but 3 boreholes; EK_24 samples are undergoing\n geotechnical test-work and EK_22 and EK_36 Lower Seam sample submission\n is pending.\n\n\nInterpretation of downhole geophysical data, geological logs and assay\n data have identified that sylvinite mineralisation in boreholes EK_11,\n EK_18, EK_32 and EK_35 is hosted by a seam at a stratigraphic position\n a...
