Announces Further Positive Rock Chip Sample Assay Results and Remote Sensing Mapping at Timok East\n\n\n (TheNewswire)\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Vancouver, Canada, August 7, 2024 –\n \n\n TheNewswire –\n \n\n Electrum Discovery Corp.\n \n\n (\"\n \n\n Electrum\n \n\n \" or the \"\n \n\n Company\n \n\n \")\n \n\n (TSX-V:ELY |FRA:R8N |OTC:ELDCF)\n \n\n is pleased to announce the results from recent rock chip\nsampling and remote sensing mapping at its Timok East copper-gold\nproject in the Republic of Serbia.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Highlights:\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n Copper and gold in soil is now correlated with known\ncopper-gold mineralization in a regional setting and with neighboring\nlarge-scale copper-gold mines.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Rock-chip sampling confirms significant copper-gold\nmineralization at Bambino with assays including 1.85% Cu and 1.27 g/t\nAu in rock-chips.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Significant copper mineralization identified in bedrock\nadjacent to northern copper soil anomaly, returning 7.55% Cu in\nrock-chip sample.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n Remote sensing highlights several ‘Killzone’\ntargets using new 8-Band WV2 satellite imagery.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Twenty-one rock-chip samples were collected from float,\nsub-crop and outcrop exposures at the Bambino anomaly, returning assay\nvalues from trace (12 samples < 100 ppm Cu) to 1.85% Cu and 1.27\ng/t Au. Consequently, significant copper mineralization (>1000 ppm\nCu) has now been confirmed in seven rock samples over 550 meters\nstrike across the Bambino area (see Figures 1 and 2).\n \n\n\n\n Furthermore, the Company has identified additional\nnotable copper mineralization between the contact of an outcropping\nintrusive felsic dyke and surrounding metasediments, located 400\nmeters southeast from the northern soil anomaly (see Figure 3).  One\nrockchip sample was taken at this contact returning assay grade of\n7.55% Cu.
