(TSXV: NSC) (the \"Company\" or \"Northern Sun\") is pleased to announce that it has obtained final court approval from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) for the proposed plan of arrangement (the \"Arrangement\") between the Company and Regal Silver Investments Inc. (the \"Purchaser\") on Friday, April 15, 2016. The Company had already received approval for the Arrangement from its shareholders at a special meeting of its shareholders held on March 24, 2016. Pursuant to the Arrangement, the Purchaser will, pursuant to the court approval and subject to the final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange (the \"Exchange\"), acquire all of the Company's common shares (the \"Shares\") held by minority shareholders (i.e. all shareholders other than Jien International Investment Ltd.) at the offer price equal to $0.07 per Share.
