(\"Liberty\" or the\n \"Company\") announced today that its Chief Financial Officer, Bill\n Woods, has taken a medical leave of absence.  The Company has appointed\n Mr. Niall Murphy to serve as Interim Chief Financial Officer until Mr.\n Woods returns.  Mr. Murphy is currently the Controller for the Company\n and a Chartered Accountant.  Mr. Murphy joined Liberty in June of 2011\n and previously worked for Inmet Mining Corporation and\n PricewaterhouseCoopers.\n\n\nAbout Liberty Mines Inc.Liberty Mines Inc. is a mid-tier producer of nickel and is focused on\n the exploration, development and production of nickel, copper, cobalt\n and platinum group metals from its properties in Ontario, Canada.
