Eleco PLC 21 March 2000 DIRECTOR'S INTERESTS IN SHARES Eleco plc (the 'Company') announces purchases totalling 106,000 Ordinary 10p Shares in the Company in respect of which a Director, Mr J H B Ketteley, is interested as follows: - 100,000 shares purchased on 20 March 2000 at 29p per share; - 6,000 shares purchased on 21 March 2000 at 30p per share. Mr Ketteley's interests in the Company's Ordinary Shares now stand at 2,532,848 shares (6.56%) and options/awards over 324,695 shares.
