EKO is proud to announce that its JV partnership NeuroVascClinical Inc. has entered into an agreement with the prestigious MeyerInstitute in Hamilton Ontario to provide FREMS to its family of patients. TheMeyer Institute is one of Canada’s leaders in the treatment and management ofdiabetic wounds and limb care. Dr Perry Meyer MD is an International lectureron limb care and a proponent of research into new technologies to better servepatients and save limbs. FREMS provide an FDA and Health Canada approved clinicbased treatment that acts to increase vascularity and nerve function indiabetic patients who suffer from neuropathy. Dr Paul Ziemer President ofNeuroVasc Clinical has worked with the Meyer Institute in the past doingresearch into wound treatments. Neurovasc is in the process of completing theclinic installation which it anticipates will have 5 machines operating whenfully completed with a capacity to treat 50 patients a day.
