[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nEmbargoed: 07.00hrs, Tuesday 17th October 2006\n\n INTERNATIONAL BRAND LICENSING PLC \n\n IBL ACQUIRES MUSCLE ATHLETIC SPORTS BRAND \n\nInternational Brand Licensing Plc (\"IBL\") announces the acquisition of the\nMuscle Athletic sports brand from Gibraltar based Herriott Investments Limited\nfor a cash consideration of £350,000.\n\nFounded in 1973, Muscle Athletic was a popular gym/beach lifestyle brand in the\n1970's and 1980's, before becoming dormant through several changes of\nownership.\n\nTony Hutchinson, IBL Chief Executive, comments: \"We are delighted to have\nacquired the global rights to Muscle Athletic, and very much look forward to\nresurrecting the brand in key markets around the world.
