[{"type":"text","content":"EGR Exploration Begins Field Work at Detour West; Receives Grant\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Vancouver, BC -\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n August 15, 2023\n \n -\n \n EGR Exploration Ltd.\n \n \n (TSX-V:EGR)\n \n (“\n \n EGR\n \n ” or the “\n \n Company\n \n ”) is pleased to announce\nthe commencement of its summer outcrop and prospecting program along\nwith the completion of the airborne magnetic interpretation for drill\ntargeting on the Detour West Gold Property.  The Company has also\nbeen approved for the Ontario Junior Exploration Program grant (OJEP).\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n HIGHLIGHTS\n \n \n \n \n \n Summer prospecting has been initiated by Canadian Exploration\nServices Limited on the Detour West Gold Property;\n \n \n \n \n Multiple targets have been identified for summer prospecting;\n \n \n \n \n EGR has been approved to receive up to $200,000 in funding from the\nOntario government under the OJEP program\n \n \n \n \n EGR has contracted Canadian Exploration Services Limited (CXS) to\nperform the summer prospecting program (www.cxsltd.com).  The\nprospecting program intends to target a number of potential outcrops\nthat were identified from previously collected LiDAR data.  Due to\nthe sparse outcrop within the project area, this program will aid in\ntargeting the upcoming glacial till and top of bedrock sampling\nReverse Circulation (RC) drill program.\n \n \n EGR’s technical team and consultants have been analyzing and\ninterpreting recently acquired high resolution airborne magnetics\ndata, historical geophysical data and geology to define and prioritize\ntargeted areas.  The collection and interpretation of superior data,\ncovering the entire property, has revealed numerous focused target\nareas on the 40,255 ha land package.  Interpretation of the magnetics\ndata shows  the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone (SLDZ) and Lower Detour\nDeformation Zone (LDDZ)  continuing onto, and transecting the\nproperty.  The team has identified numerous targets and areas of\ninterest that have the potential to host orogenic gold mineralization\nand merit further exploration.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Click Image To View Full Size\n \n \n \n EGR applied for the Ontario Junior Exploration Program Grant (OJEP)\n ...
