Commercial launch of bowel cancer testing service

EDX Medical Group plc has commercially launched its BC95 bowel cancer testing service in the UK, which offers improved early detection with sensitivities exceeding 95% across all stages and includes an assessment of hereditary risk. This comprehensive service utilizes epigenetic biomarker testing, EarlyTect®-C, developed in partnership with Genomictree, alongside other methods like qFIT, to analyze biomarkers from faecal, blood, or saliva samples. The BC95 service aims to address the significant number of missed diagnoses in current screening methods, with the goal of improving patient outcomes and survival rates, which are closely linked to early diagnosis.
