[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n \n \n \n UPDATE ON ITOGON GOLD PROJECT\n \n \n\n \n ECR Minerals plc\n \n \n\n \n \n \n ECR MINERALS plc\n \n \n (“ECR Minerals”, “ECR” or the “Company”)\n \n \n AIM: ECR\n \n \n US OTC: MTGDY\n \n \n UPDATE ON ITOGON GOLD PROJECT\n \n \n LONDON: 26 JUNE 2014 - ECR Minerals plc is pleased to provide the \n following update on activities at the Itogon gold project, Philippines.\n \n \n HIGHLIGHTS\n \n \n * ECR to carry out second phase of drilling at Itogon project following \n positive results of initial phase announced 29 May 2014; highlights \n included a mineralised interval (apparent width) of 18m at 17.14 g/t \n gold from surface (inc. 2m at 119.53 g/t gold)\n \n \n * Planning for second phase of drilling now underway utilising 3D \n modelling of first phase results\n \n \n * Other exploration activities ongoing during June and July 2014 include \n surface and underground channel sampling, the main objective of which is \n to confirm extensions of the epithermal gold mineralisation in the main \n prospect area at Itogon along strike and laterally\n \n \n Stephen Clayson, Chief Executive Officer of ECR, commented:\n \n \n “As planning of the next phase of drilling for the Itogon project takes \n place other exploration activities are continuing and will generate \n valuable additional data. The next phase of drilling, like the \n activities now taking place, will be designed to continue our evaluation \n of the project’s economic potential in a cost effective manner.”\n \n \n Summary of June/July 2014 Exploration Activities - Itogon Gold Project\n \n \n * Continued detailed geological mapping of main prospect area, at \n surface and underground\n \n \n * Channel sampling and trenching focused primarily on confirming \n extensions of the mineralisation at surface in the main prospect area at \n Itogon both laterally and to the southeast of the most southeasterly \n first phase ECR drill holes; more than one hundred samples have been \n sent to an accredited independent laboratory for analysis, with assay \n results expected in July 2014\n \n \n * Underground channel sampling within small scale workings\n \n \n * Dewatering of an adit at the southeastern end of the main prospect \n area to allow access for mapping and sampling\n \n \n * Profile surveying to generate data for ECR’s digital elevation model \n of the main pr...
