[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n \n \n \n Further Positive Results from Channel Sampling at Itogon Gold \n Project, Philippines\n \n \n\n \n ECR Minerals plc\n \n \n\n \n \n \n ECR MINERALS plc (“ECR Minerals”, “ECR” or the “Company”)\n \n AIM: ECRUS OTC: MTGDY\n \n FURTHER POSITIVE RESULTS FROM CHANNEL SAMPLING AT ITOGON GOLD \n PROJECT, PHILIPPINES\n \n \n LONDON: 1 SEPTEMBER 2014 - ECR Minerals plc is pleased to \n announce further positive assay results from surface and underground \n channel sampling at the Itogon epithermal gold project in the \n Philippines.\n \n \n HIGHLIGHTS\n \n \n * Assay results from third phase of channel sampling by ECR at Itogon \n project include, at surface, 18m averaging 2.78g/t gold and 34m \n averaging 0.71g/t gold\n \n \n * Results continue to demonstrate gold mineralisation at surface outside \n the zones tested by previous drilling; please see accompanying maps\n \n \n * Promising results from channel sampling in underground workings; 44m \n averaging 0.30g/t gold in one adit and grades of up to 7.38g/t over 1m \n in another\n \n \n * Drilling expected to recommence at Itogon project during Q4 2014\n \n \n Stephen Clayson, Chief Executive Officer of ECR, commented:\n \n \n “We are pleased to be reporting another round of positive channel \n sampling results from Itogon. Channel sampling continues at the project, \n and is focused on obtaining further information as to the extension of \n mineralisation at surface to the south, south-east, south-west and east \n in the central to southern sections of the main prospect area, outside \n the extent of previous drilling by ECR and historical drilling, and on \n helping to refine ECR’s overall geological interpretation of the main \n prospect area.\n \n \n The data being generated by the current work is very valuable and is \n being used to inform detailed planning of the next phase of drilling.
