[{"type":"text","content":"\n Mercator Gold PLC\n21 February 2006\n\n\n\n21 February 2006\n\n •Drilling commences on Mercator's 100% owned Meekatharra assets, with more\n drill rigs to follow.\n\n\nLONDON - Mercator Gold plc (AIM: MCR) ('Mercator' or 'the Company') announces\nthat it has signed a contract for the supply of reverse circulation and diamond\ncore drilling with Drill Corp-Western Deephole. Reverse circulation drilling\nwill commence on Wednesday 22 February, only 3 weeks since the acquisition of\nthe Meekatharra assets from St Barbara Limited.\n\nThe initial reverse circulation and diamond programme, consisting of 15,000m\nwill be at Bluebird where the company is targeting substantial extensions to the\nknown resource.\n\nDiamond core drilling at Paddy's Flat will target mineralised zones for early\nmetallurgical testing.
