Lawrence plc ECO appoints Aivlosin(Copyright) distributor in Europe ECO Animal Health Ltd ("ECO"), Lawrence plc's subsidiary which specialises in the development and distribution worldwide of veterinary pharmaceutical products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Schering-Plough Animal Health Corporation ("Schering-Plough") as its exclusive distributor of Aivlosin(Copyright) for pigs in 19 countries in Europe. This follows the announcement in May 2004 that Aivlosin(Copyright) has been approved by the EMEA (European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products), following many years of trials, for the treatment and prevention of Enzootic Pneumonia in pigs; further approvals for both pigs and poultry are expected in due course.
