These were strong lifestyle assets with brand potential, but\r\n they were only the beginning.\r\n\r\nIn that same month, we formally launched Uplist Ventures, ECGI’s strategic\r\n initiative focused on sourcing early stage innovation with long term public\r\n market potential. Uplist Ventures was designed to give ECGI a front row seat to\r\n the shifting dynamics of venture backed startups, particularly those in AI,\r\n healthcare, blockchain, and vertical software, where market demand remains\r\n strong but venture funding has grown more selective.\r\n\r\nRather than replicate the traditional venture capital model,\r\n our approach is different. We are using venture capital not as an endgame, but\r\n as a sourcing and diligence engine. We invest early with the explicit goal of\r\n identifying startups that can eventually be acquired, rolled up, or\r\n incubated into ECGI's broader public market strategy. This structure allows\r\n us to discover promising companies earlier, align incentives with founders, and\r\n create value through scalable public pathways.\r\n\r\nIn just a few months, we have made high conviction\r\n investments in:\r\n\r\n\r\n AuraChat.ai,\r\n a multilingual AI platform that delivers real time sales and customer\r\n support automation in more than 50 languages\r\n TrueToForm,\r\n an AI powered 3D body scanning software that helps fashion brands reduce\r\n returns and improve fit accuracy in ecommerce\r\n Payday\r\n Fantasy, a next generation fantasy sports marketplace built for the\r\n peak of NFL and college football season\r\n\r\n\r\nThese startups are not only gaining traction in their\r\n markets, they are helping us build a strategic lens into sectors we believe\r\n offer significant long term upside.
