(TSXV:ETF) \"Eastfield\" (TSX-V: ETF) is pleased to announce that exploration has commenced on its 10,660 hectare Zymo copper-gold property located 45 kilometres west of Smithers, BC. The Zymo property hosts at least two known copper-gold porphyry, intrusion-related, mineralized zones now known as the Hobbes zone and the FM zone. A third area of interest, the URC target, remains untested and will be the focus of the current program. The URC target is located 1.5 km west of the Hobbes Zone and is characterized by an intriguing 1.5 km long coincident copper-gold soil geochemical anomaly. This target is beyond the western end of the geophysical grid in an area with no outcrops. A sample of mineralized intrusive float was located from this area that returned 0.33% copper and 0.22 g/t gold. A geophysical survey consisting of several lines of Induced Polarization (IP) and Magnetics will be conducted on the URC target. In addition to the geophysical work, sampling and prospecting will be carried out on URC as well as other areas of the property. The Hobbes Zone is the most advanced to date and has been tested with nine drill holes and is open in all directions, including depth. Highlights include ZY-08-9 intersecting 72.0 m of 0.72% copper and 0.54 g/t gold and ZY-09-10 intersecting 57.0 m of 0.43% copper and 0.32 g/t gold. All holes intersected significant mineralization and have outlined an open-ended mineralized zone that extends more than 600 m in an east-west orientation. Drilling has shown the mineralization to extend at least 400 m vertically from surface.Eastfield has held the Zymo property since 2007 when it entered into an option to earn a 100% interest, subject to an NSR, from a private company. In that same year a reconnaissance exploration program was completed that resulted in the discovery of a new copper-gold porphyry occurrence now named the Hobbes Zone. In 2008 an extensive exploration program of geochemical sampling, geophysical surveying, geological mapping and core drilling significantly expanded the property potential. In 2009, drilling expanded the Hobbes Zone and the URC soil anomaly was defined. An IP chargeability anomaly associated with extensive rock...
