Emisstar is a recognized leader in their field.\n\n\nFurther information on Emisstar LLC may be found at www.emisstar.com\n\n\nThe objective of the testing was to evaluate the effects of the\nJetstar(TM) hydrogen insertion technology on fuel economy and emissions for\nClass 8 Heavy Duty diesel trucks.\n\n\nFuel economy was measured using the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers)\nJ1321 test procedure which includes a control vehicle to be run simultaneously\nwith a test vehicle on the same course at the same time under ambient weather\nand road conditions.\n\n\nThe emissions of carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) total\nhydrocarbons (THC), nitrogen monoxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) were\nmeasured using a portable emissions measuring system (PEMS) in grams/mile with\nconversions to g/bhp-hr.\n\n\nExcept for model year, the two trucks were the same make, model, rated\nhorsepower, drive train components as well as engine displacement. To simulate\npayload conditions each truck was loaded with an equal number of 55 gallon\ndrums containing water. Test weights were established at 32,500 pounds.\nDrivers were thoroughly trained, possessed similar driving skills and\nperformed a series of trial test cycles prior to performing the actual\nbaseline and final tests to ensure that the cycles were driven as intended.\n\n\nThe testing took place in Romulus Michigan commencing on September 18th\n2008 and concluding on October 30th 2008.\n\n\nAs documented in the report, "The strict repeatability requirements of\nthe SAE J1321 specification were met and data for the Baseline and Final test\nrounds are valid. The overall fuel economy value was improved by 7.02 percent\nby deploying the Jetstar(TM)".\n\n\nHowever, the fuel economy values for the Test truck on the baseline test\n(no Jetstar(TM)) vs. the final test (with Jetstar(TM)) in each of the three\ntest segments are as follows:\n\n\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nTest Run Average...
