[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 3440A Dunelm Group plc 06 October 2009 \n \n6 October 2009\n\nNOT FOR RELEASE, PUBLICATION OR DISTRIBUTION INTO OR IN THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AUSTRALIA OR JAPAN \n\nPROPOSED SECONDARY PLACING OF ORDINARY SHARES DUNELM GROUP PLC (\"DUNELM\") \n\n\nDunelm announces that it has been advised by Bill Adderley, founder and Life President of Dunelm, that he intends to sell up to approximately 15.6 million ordinary shares in Dunelm in an accelerated bookbuild, secondary placing (the \"Placing\"). This represents in aggregate approximately 7.8 per cent. of the issued share capital of Dunelm and 18.6 per cent. of those shares in which Bill Adderley is interested. \n\nThe Placing will be managed by UBS Investment Bank and Oriel Securities Limited (\"Oriel Securities\"). The amount of the Placing proceeds, the number of ordinary shares in the Placing (\"Placing Shares\") and the placing price will be decided at the close of the accelerated bookbuilding period. \n\nBill Adderley has agreed that, following completion of the placing, he will not dispose of further shares in the Company for a period of at least twelve months. \n\nThe books for the Placing will open with immediate effect. Pricing and allocations are expected to be announced as soon as practicable following the closing of the books.
