Calgary, AB / TNW-ACCESSWIRE / October 8, 2014 / Athabasca Nuclear Corporation (TSX-V: ASC) ("Athabasca Nuclear" or the "Corporation") is pleased to report that it has been advised that matters pertaining to its proposed plan of arrangement with Strike Graphite Corp. have received the necessary approvals required by shareholders of Strike Graphite Corp. by way of voting held at the annual general and special meeting of shareholders held by Strike Graphite Corp. on October 7, 2014 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Athabasca Nuclear currently expects the arrangement with Strike Graphite Corp. to close during the week of October 13, 2014. Closing of the arrangement remains subject to certain conditions, including final court approval and final TSX Venture Exchange approval.
