[{"type":"text","content":"\n Blavod Extreme Spirits PLC\n10 January 2006\n\n\n Blavod Extreme Spirits plc\n ('the Company' or 'Blavod')\n\n Trading update\n\nFRANKLIN, Tenn. - 10 January 2006 - Blavod Extreme Spirits plc (BES.L) today\nreports on trading ending 31 December 2005. Total revenues during the Christmas\ntrading period, 1 October to 31 December 2005, increased over 20% year-on-year.\n\nIn the United Kingdom, year-to-date revenues increased by over 28% with total\ncase shipments year-to-date up over 29%. This included a strong contribution\nfrom Blavod Black Vodka where sales, out of the top two supermarket groups in\nthe UK, increased by 26% in the quarter and were up 52% in December. Going into\nJanuary 2006 forward orders for Blavod Black Vodka are 28% ahead of last year.\n\nRevenues in the US increased over 142% year to date, with total case shipments\nup over 117% year-to-date. Forward orders received for shipments in January 2006\nin the US are ahead of the same-month totals from the prior year. In addition,\nrevenues from the initial launch of El Diamante Del Cielo tequilas, our joint\nventure with Suntory, are ahead of expectations.\n\nJeff Hopmayer, Blavod's CEO said, 'We've had a successful holiday selling season\nwith solid growth in both revenue and depletions. As a result total revenues\nfor the nine months to 31 December are up significantly year-to-date and we are\nlooking forward to the nationwide US launch of our tequilas.
