[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 4049K Acal PLC 18 December 2008 \n\n\nACAL PLC (\"ACAL\") PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF A MAJORITY SHAREHOLDING IN SERVICE SOURCE EUROPE LIMITED (\"SSE\") AND ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMPLOYEE'SSHARE SCHEME\nPOSTING OF SHAREHOLDER CIRCULAR\nAcal announces that it has today posted to its shareholders a circular (the \"Circular\") describing proposals for (a) the acquisition of a 75 per cent. interest in SSE (the \"Acquisition\") and (b) the establishment of an employees' share scheme for the management team that Acal intends will manage its parts services division, as enlarged by the Acquisition (the \"B Share Scheme\").\nThe Circular contains a notice of a general meeting of the Company to be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, 8 January 2009 at 2 Chancellor Court, Occam Road, Surrey Research Park, Guildford GU2 7AH (the \"General Meeting\"), at which Acal's shareholders will vote on the Acquisition and the establishment of the B Share Scheme.
