[{"type":"text","content":"\n Diploma PLC\n27 March 2000\n\nRESULT OF COURT MEETING AND EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING\n\nDiploma PLC announces that at the Court Meeting held earlier\ntoday, shareholders approved the proposed return of capital\nand creation of New Diploma PLC by a scheme of arrangement,\ndetails of which were sent to shareholders on 2 March 2000.\nIn addition, at the Extraordinary General Meeting held\nimmediately after the Court Meeting shareholders approved\nthe resolution necessary to implement the scheme of\narrangement.\n\nUnder the proposals, ordinary shareholders will receive 1\nordinary share in New Diploma PLC and £2 in cash for every 2\nexisting ordinary shares.
