(DFI:TSX) ("DFI" or the "Company") is very pleased to announce that\nEdward Flood has agreed to join the board of directors of the Company.\n\n\nAfter 11 years as President and Deputy Chairman of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd\n(until February, 2007), Ed Flood became Managing Director, Investment Banking,\nfor Haywood Securities (UK) Ltd., a subsidiary of one of Canada's leading\nindependent investment dealers. He is also the Chairman of Western Uranium\nCorporation and Director to several mineral exploration and development\ncompanies. Prior to joining Ivanhoe, from 1993 to 1995, Mr. Flood was a\nprincipal at Robertson Stephens & Co., a U.S. investment bank and a member of\nRobertson Stephens' investment team. From 1983 to 1993, he served as Manager,\nProject Evaluation for NERCO Minerals Company. He also held the position of\nsenior mining analyst with Haywood Securities Inc. from 1999 to 2001.
