He was born in Singapore and\neducated in the United Kingdom, where he obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) degree in\ngeology from Oxford Brookes University. He subsequently undertook post\ngraduate studies for M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Cape Town,\nSouth Africa, prior to working as a consultant in the mineral exploration\nindustry.\n\n\nIan brings to the Company over 12 years of exploration management\nexperience in the African theatre, including over five years experience in\nWest Africa, where he has worked in Sierra Leone, the Republic of Guinea,\nLiberia and Benin, primarily in diamond and gold exploration.
