(TSX:DFI)\n(\"DFI\" or the \"Company\") announces that consistent with the planned relocation\nof its Head Office to Cape Town, South Africa, the Company is pleased to\nannounce the appointment of Darren McDonald CMA, as interim Chief Financial\nOfficer, which becomes effective on December 31, 2005. Kenneth Hecker, CFO,\nCOO and Secretary of Diamond Fields will resign from the Company effective on\nthe same day. On behalf of the Board of Directors, Diamond Fields would like\nto extend its appreciation to Mr. Hecker for his service, and wishes him the\nbest of luck in his future endeavors.\nMr. McDonald will guide the transition of DFI's head office from\nVancouver, B.C. to Cape Town, South Africa. He has served as DFI's Controller\nsince February of 2003 and is a Certified Management Accountant formerly of\nGrant Thornton LLP and KPMG LLP. Upon leaving public practice, he joined\nDiamond Fields as Controller and has been responsible for all aspects of the\nCompany's accounting and financial reporting.\nThe Company also reports that Inco Ltd. (\"Inco\") has advised DFI that it\ndoes not plan further work on the Company's Ammassalik nickel project in East\nGreenland. Inco completed a drill program on the property during the 2005\nseason to evaluate nickel showings and geophysical targets generated by DFI's\nexploration in the previous two seasons. Results were not encouraging leading\nInco to its decision to withdraw before vesting and thereby retaining no\ninterest in the land package compiled by DFI.
