[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 8775P Dialight PLC 26 July 2010 \n \n\n \n26 July 2010\n \nDialight plc\nSupply Agreement for the Advancement of National \"Smart Grid\" \n \nDialight plc (\"Dialight\"), an innovative global leader in LED lighting technology, announces the signing of a supply agreement for its PowerPulse ANSI 200-amp disconnect/reconnect load switch.\n \nThis agreement with a new Dialight customer, one of the major North American metering companies, is initially for three years and is in direct support of the United States Advanced Meter Infrastructure Initiative, a program to deploy \"smart\" metering across the \"smart grid\" nationwide.\n \nIn the United States mass conversion has begun with more than 100 million domestic electricity meters being potentially upgraded to \"smart metering\".\n \nDialight CEO, Roy Burton, commented: \"We are pleased to have this extended agreement in place, and see it as endorsement of our technological capabilities in this highly safety conscious and challenging market.
