He will join the Board with effect from 25 January 2016 to succeed Bill Ronald, who gave notice on 27 July 2015 of his intention to stand down as Chairman and Director of the Group.\n \nWayne was previously Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Invensys, a leading technology company with a global footprint. He has wide-ranging Non-Executive Director experience. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Ashtead Group plc, BBA Aviation plc and MSCI Inc.\n \nStephen Bird, Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Nomination Committee appointed to lead the succession process, said:\n\"We are delighted to welcome Wayne to the Board of Dialight. Wayne brings relevant commercial and boardroom experience working with global companies in the technology sector. About Wayne Edmunds\nWayne Edmunds was Chief Executive Officer of Invensys plc from 2011 until 2014, having worked at the business since 2008 in various roles including Chief Financial Officer from 2009 to 2011. He joined Invensys from Reuters America Inc., where he was Chief Financial Officer, and has held several other senior finance roles in the technology sector including 17 years at Lucent Technologies.
