[{"type":"text","content":"\n Driver Group plc\n08 June 2006\n\n\n DRIVER GROUP PLC\n ('Driver Group' or 'the Group')\n\n Announces\n\n Expansion in the South-West of England\n\n\nAt the time of its Admission to AIM in October 2005, Driver Group, which\nprovides specialist commercial and dispute resolution services to the\nconstruction industry, stated that it intended to strengthen the Group's\npresence in the south-west of England. The Board is therefore delighted to\nannounce the appointment of Mark Wheeler as director of the South-West Region.\nThis is a newly created role and Mark Wheeler's appointment takes immediate\neffect. At the same time, Driver Group is pleased to announce the opening of a\nnew office in Bristol.\n\nMark, aged 40, is a qualified barrister (non-practising) with over twenty years'\nexperience in the construction industry. Mark joins Driver Group from James R\nKnowles plc, where he was an Executive Director and also Head of Non-Contentious\nLegal Services. He has particularly strong client relationships in the\nsouth-west, having been based in Bristol for the last four years.\n\nMark has significant experience of adjudications, arbitration, mediation and\ntraditional court hearings. He also provides project management services to\ncontractors and consultants in the building services sector, often on a crisis\nbasis.\n\nMark is an Accredited Mediator, a Member of the Chartered Institute of\nArbitrators and of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and a\nFellow of the Quantity Surveyors Institute. He lectures nationally on dispute\nresolution within the construction industry.\n\nCommenting on the new appointment, Steve Driver, Chief Executive of Driver\nGroup, said,\n\n'As the Group highlighted at the time of flotation in October 2005, the\nsouth-west is an important growth area for the business in the UK.
