[{"type":"text","content":"\n Driver Group plc\n12 January 2006 \n\n\n DRIVER GROUP PLC\n ('Driver Group')\n\n MAJOR CONTRACT AGREEMENT IN ABU DHABI\n\n\nDriver Group, which provides specialist commercial, project planning and dispute\nresolution services to the construction industry, announces that it has\nconcluded a significant agreement in Abu Dhabi with an international Engineering\nConsultancy. Under the terms of the agreement, Driver Group will be providing\ncommercial and project planning services in connection with a US$14.7bn property\ndevelopment in Abu Dhabi. The contract is for an initial three years and will\nsupport a minimum of six consultants, potentially increasing to 15 consultants\nover the term of the agreement. With the minimum resource level of six\nconsultants, this project should make a significant contribution to securing\nDriver Group's forecast profit for its operations in the United Arab Emirates\nfor the financial year to 30 September 2006.\n\nThe mixed use property development includes signature commercial buildings,\nretail, leisure, health and community facilities. At this stage, Driver Group is\nunable to name the project or client as the agreement contains express\nprovisions for confidentiality.\n\nSteve Driver, Chief Executive Officer of Driver Group, commented,\n\n'I am delighted to announce this contract.
