(\"Horizon\"\n or \"the Corporation\") announced today that it has strengthened its\n management team with the addition of a new senior executive.  Mr. Rod\n Graham has joined the Corporation in the position of Senior Vice\n President, Corporate Development and Planning.  Reporting to Bob\n German, President and Chief Executive Officer, Rod will work closely\n with all of Horizon's operating units and corporate function heads to\n continue to improve and grow the Corporation's business, with an\n emphasis on identifying, and positioning Horizon to participate in\n intermediate and longer-term opportunities.\n\n\nRod has been a member of Horizon's Board of Directors since January 2007\n and has served as Chairman since January 2010.  He has resigned his\n position on the Board effective today.  Before he joined Horizon, Rod\n was the President and CEO of ZCL Composites Inc. - an Edmonton based,\n TSX listed, fiberglass tank manufacturing company.  Prior to his role\n at ZCL, he was a co-founder and Managing Director of Northern Plains\n Capital Ltd. - a Calgary-based private equity firm focused solely on\n investing in oilfield and energy industrial companies.  Prior to\n co-founding Northern Plains, he had short stints at Peters & Co.\n Limited and RBC Capital Markets interspersed within an 11 year tenure\n at ARC Financial Corporation, a Calgary-based private equity manager. \n Over the course of his career Rod has actively served on the Board of\n Directors of 14 different oilfield service and infrastructure\n companies.  Rod holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Masters\n of Business Administration and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.\n\n\nMr. Russell Newmark will assume the position of Chairman of Horizon's\n Board of Directors.   Russell has been a member of the Corporation's\n Board of Directors Board since the inception of the Corporation on June\n 1, 2006. Russell has extensive and diverse business knowledge and\n experience throughout Northern Canada and has been Chief Executive\n Officer of E. Gruben's Transport Ltd. since 1990, a successful\n contracting firm based in the Northwest Territories.\n\n\n\"Rod's diverse business experience will broaden the perspective of\n H...
