Guild professional player wins $200,000 in Fortnite tournament

Guild Esports PLC (LSE: GILD; OTCQB: GULDF), a global gaming-focused media business, is pleased to announce that its professional Fortnite player, 'Chico', has won $200,000 after finishing third in the prestigious Fortnite Champion Series ("FNCS") final.

The event, hosted at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen on 15 October 2023, provided significant visibility to Guild with Chico publicly described as 'Guild Chico'. A small proportion of the prize money goes to Guild in line with industry practice and contractual agreements between the Company and Guild players.
