The DATA Group Income Fund announces December 2011 distribution

BRAMPTON, ON, Dec. 16, 2011 /CNW/ - The DATA Group Income Fund ("Fund") (TSX: DGI.UN) announced today that its Trustees have declared a cash distribution on its trust units of $0.0542 per unit (the "December Distribution"). The December Distribution is payable on January 13, 2012 to unitholders of record on December 31, 2011 for the period from December 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011.

As previously announced, the Fund intends to reorganize the Fund's income trust structure into a dividend paying public corporation named Data Group Inc. by way of a statutory plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement"). Pursuant to the Arrangement, unitholders of the Fund will become the holders of common shares of the Data Group Inc. The Arrangement is expected to become effective January 1, 2012. As a result of the Arrangement, the Data Group Inc. will pay the distribution on behalf of the Fund.
