(TSXV: FFX),\na pioneer in super conducting eco-friendly technologies that use the earth's\nheat, announced today that it has launched a new product that could end the\nmisery of clearing snow-laden driveways.\n\n\n"The technology is so cost-effective, it can, and has been, applied to\nairport runways," said Alf Sanderson, President.\n\n\nThe system requires a series of T-shaped rods containing the non-toxic\nsuper conducting material to be placed vertically to a depth of 30 to 35 feet\nbelow the surface to tap into the constant mild temperatures below and bring\nheat continuously to the surface.\n\n\nThe natural heat will protect a driveway or sidewalk down to minus 10\nCentigrade. Below this temperature, self-contained low-wattage heating\nelements switch on to provide any necessary additional heat.\n\n\n"Slippery winter driveways are a menace. Many people over exert\nthemselves clearing snow and ice and have serious accidents, particularly in\nsituations where driveways are steep."\n\n\nSanderson said that the company's commercial roll-out is focusing on\nthree main areas: municipal waste to electricity generation, solar thermal\npanels for water heating, and seawater heat exchangers for cooling commercial\nbuildings adjacent to shorelines.\n\n\n"The message I want to get across is that we have a suite of sublimely\nsimple, low-cost, low maintenance technologies that are extremely sustainable\nbecause they tap into the heat produced by the earth and do not have any\nbyproducts from their use," stated Sanderson.\n\n\n"Anything that involves the movement of heat, we can do it more\nefficiently," he concluded.\n\n\nAbout Free Energy International Inc.\n\n\nFree Energy is incorporated in British Columbia, has its headquarters in\nVancouver and operations in Richmond.
