These prototype orders utilize\n Cymat's SmartMetal as part of a survivability solution for under belly\n protection for two proposed HMMWV geometries.\n\n\nThese solutions have been designed to accommodate both existing\n vehicles, as part of an extensive recapitalization plan, and new OEM\n vehicle production. The material continues to demonstrate effective and\n lightweight blast mitigation properties. Success in this application\n for the US military would mean access to further commercial\n opportunities within the group of NATO country Armed Forces who\n collectively retain a large fleet of this vehicle type.
