(\"CyberCare\"), has released a mobile application allowing both patients and care providers to take pictures of wounds using a cell phone. The wound image is securely uploaded directly into the patient's electronic medical record where the clinician can attach the image to an initial consultation or wound progress report. \n At any given time, almost six million Americans suffer from chronic, non-healing wounds caused by diabetes, poor circulation or other conditions.?The CyberCare Wound Care program, a component of the Electronic House Call System, has been designed to assist clinicians in reducing the number of days to heal wounds by utilizing its comprehensive medical record to track patients from referral through discharge. \n The mobile application is currently available for free on Google Play for Android based phones and for the iPhone at the Apple store. The application has been submitted for use on Windows based phones.
