John had the opportunity to highlight Cyan's progress to date in India and reinforce Cyan's position within the smart metering eco-system with successful pilot deployments of low-power smart metering in high-density urban areas across India.\n \nFurthermore, the Ministry of Power also released its 'Smart Grid Vision and Roadmap for India1'earlier this month. In his message Mr Scindia describes the roadmap as being \"aligned to the Ministry of Power's overarching policy of Access, Availability and Affordability of Quality Power for all.\" He continues, \"This roadmap has placed highest importance to providing supply of electricity to all households by 2017 through smart grid technologies.\"\n \n3rd World Smart Grid Conference\nLast week, Cyan participated in the 3rd World Smart Grid Conference held in New Delhi, India. Shiv Kaushik, Country Manager in India, chaired the session 'Smart IC Technologies for Advanced Metering Infrastructure and presented 'Smart Metering Deployments'.
