[{"type":"text","content":"\n Cyan Holdings Plc\n31 August 2006\n\nPress Release 31 August 2006\n\n Cyan Holdings Plc\n \n ('Cyan' or 'the Company')\n \n Cyan becomes a multi-product company\n\nCyan Holdings Plc (AIM: CYAN.L), the fabless semiconductor company specialising\nin the development of low power consumption, configurable microcontroller chips,\nannounces today that is has expanded its product range with the release to\nproduction of eCOG1X. eCOG1X transforms Cyan from a single product company to a\nmulti-product company with 33 products and enable Cyan to capture further design\nwins in a number of new markets. The eCOG1X triples the computing performance of\nthe eCOG1k which continues in production for ultra low power applications.\n\nCyan has already secured 14 design wins for the eCOG1X including ePOS and\nTelematics applications with additional opportunities in security, access\ncontrol, pay phones, consumer and networking. These initial design wins are\nlikely to total about 250,000 units per annum when all are in full production at\nprojected annual run rates. In addition there are a further 18 opportunities of\nover 50,000 units per annum that could result in 3.5 million units per annum at\nfull projected annual run rates. The unit selling price for eCOG1X products\nranges from $4 to $10.\n\nPaul Johnson, CEO of Cyan, commented: 'We are delighted to go into production\nwith eCOG1X and expect revenues in 2007.
