[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 7243A Cyan Holdings Plc 25 March 2013 \n \n\nRNS Reach\n25 March 2013\nCyan Holdings plc\n(\"Cyan\" or the \"Company\")\n \nCyan increases operations in India\n \nCyan Holdings plc (AIM: CYAN.L), the integrated system and software design company delivering mesh based flexible wireless solutions for utility metering and lighting control, today announces that Shiv Kaushik has been appointed as Country Manager in India. \n \nMr Kaushik, who has more than 18 years of experience with leading IT companies, joins Cyan to support its strategy to build key relationships in the energy and utility sector in India. Shiv has a wealth of experience in this sector selling software based solutions for companies such as Oracle, Wipro and Ferranti. Whilst employed in senior business development roles in India, Shiv worked with system integrators and utilities to manage the deployment of the IT based systems required for the implementation of energy management solutions.\n \nFurthermore, Cyan has recruited two local senior field application engineers to provide additional customer and technical support in India. \n \nIn addition to the recruitment of field based personnel, Cyan is also qualifying additional manufacturing facilities in the form of two India based Tier-1 Contract Equipment Manufacturers. Both manufacturers are global companies offering a comprehensive range of Original Equipment Manufacturer services and hold ISO 9001 and other regulatory certificates. Part of the qualification process is a pre-production build to verify quality and performance. These additional manufacturing facilities will work in parallel with the current production in China to meet volume demands going forward. \n \nJohn Cronin, Executive Chairman of Cyan, commented: \"We are pleased to welcome Shiv and the application engineers to Cyan.
