Announces Full-Scale ESD Module Installed at City of Guelph Drinking Water Facility\n\n(via Thenewswire.ca)\n\n \nA Company Specializing in Environmental Protection and Remediation Technologies\n\n\n \nSeptember 14, 2012 Guelph, Ontario: Dr. Gene Shelp, President and CEO of ENPAR Technologies Inc. (TSX:ENP) (\"ENPAR\" or \"the Company\"), is pleased to announce that the Company has installed a full-scale module of its ESD System at a City of Guelph drinking water facility. The versatile, state-of-the-art technology is designed to treat approximate 100,000 litres per day and is expected to reduce target ions in drinking water from groundwater sources to a level below the government mandates/recommended levels.\n\n\n \nFunding for the ESD Demonstration Project was provided by The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation through the Innovation Demonstration Fund. The City of Guelph (\"the City\") is participating as Demonstration Project Partner. ENPAR is conducting scheduled tours of the plant in co-operation with the City. Interested parties, including water treatment and environmental engineers, facility managers and operators, environmental scientists, government officials and investors, will have the opportunity to become familiar with the functional and performance capabilities of the ESD system.\n\n\n \nThe ESD System is designed to achieve high water recovery and removal rates of metals and other undesirable, dissolved inorganic, organic and biological constituents in drinking, waste and industrial process waters. The technology can be implemented as a full-scale, stand-alone treatment plant or as a complementary upgrade to conventional methods at new or existing facilities. ESD can easily accommodate increased water volume demand resulting from population or production growth.\n\n\n \n\"ENPAR expects that the success of the ESD Demonstration Project will provide the impetus to establish a first-to-market foothold for this high-reliability technology,\" Dr. Shelp commented. \"The versatile ESD System has broad application across municipal and industrial water treatment sectors. ENPAR is engaged in business development discussions with domestic and international engineering firms which have expressed interest in marketing ESD Systems.\"\n\n\n \nAbout ENPAR Technologies Inc.\n\n\n \nEN...
