("ENPAR"), is extremely pleased\nto announce it has now shipped the first DesEL unit to Singapore Utilities\nInternational Pte Ltd ("SUI") of Singapore for testing.\n\n\nENPAR has also sent one of its scientists to assist in conducting onsite\ntraining in Singapore. As previously announced, the Company's DesEL system\nwill be evaluated for the recovery of water from brine concentrate that is\nproduced by conventional membrane-type water treatment systems such as reverse\nosmosis. As much as 30% of the treated water can end up in the waste stream.\n\n\nThe mission of SUI, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public\nUtilities Board (PUB) of Singapore, is to support the functions of the PUB,\nusing expertise in state-of-the-art water treatment technology.\n\n\nDr. Shelp stated, "ENPAR's DesEL system will recover greater than 90% of\nthe waste water for reuse.
