(TSX-V: ENP) ("ENPAR")\nwishes to report that a final award has been issued with respect to the\nCompany's arbitration dispute with Biosource Inc. The arbitrator has issued an\ninjunction which expressly permits ENPAR to develop and commercialize\ntechnology in competition with Biosource in the water-purification field as\nlong as ENPAR does not use Patent Rights and Technical Information it was\npreviously allowed to use under the Agreement.\n\n\nThe final award makes no determination regarding the validity or\nenforceability of Biosource's Patent Rights and nothing in the award should be\nconstrued to preclude ENPAR from challenging the validity of the Patent Rights\nor from asserting that it has not used Patent Rights to the extent such\npatents are invalid.\n\n\nThe term "Technical Information", that is referred to above, is limited\nto any research and development information, unpatented inventions,\ntechniques, procedures, know-how, trade secrets, or technical data that was\nnot otherwise publicly available and was provided by Biosource to ENPAR at any\ntime prior to July 10, 2007, or has not become published and generally known\nto the public since July 10, 2007 through no fault or omission on the part of\nENPAR.\n\n\nThe Management of ENPAR is pleased by the rulings and remains confident\nthat through innovation, filing of the Company's own intellectual property,\nand strategic marketing that ENPAR can successfully compete in the global\nwater purification market.\n\n\nThe TSX Venture Exchange has not reviewed and does not accept\nresponsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.\n\n\nENPAR is a "Technology Company" applying its patented and proprietary\n"Electrochemical Technologies" to the treatment of waste water and drinking\nwater contaminated by metals or nutrients, i.e., nitrate/ammonia associated\nwith the mining, metal processing, chemical, agricultural, municipal and waste\nmanagement sectors.
