(\"ENPAR\" or \"the\nCompany\") is pleased to announce that it has filed a patent application to the\nUnited Kingdom Patent Office for recent advancements to its ExtrEL Leaching\nTechnology.\nBy international agreement, this United Kingdom Patent Application\nestablishes a Priority Date for the invention, which is recognized by\nvirtually all other countries. Over the next year, ENPAR will submit patent\napplications for countries that have a rich history of base metal mining,\nincluding Australia, Canada, Russia and South Africa.\nThe ability of the ExtrEL Leaching System to effectively leach nickel\nfrom sulphide minerals (currently proven to recover up to 77% of the contained\nnickel from nickel sulphide mine tailings) represents a significant\nopportunity for both major and junior mining companies.\nMajor companies will be empowered with the ability to recover the\nsignificant value of nickel that is currently locked in mine tailings that are\ngenerally considered a major environmental liability.\nENPAR estimates that the recoverable nickel contained in the mine\ntailings in the Sudbury area alone is valued in the tens of Billions of\nDollars. Based on known historical nickel mining camps, the business\nopportunity for ENPAR worldwide is spectacular.\nIn addition, ENPAR believes that the ExtrEL System could become the\nmineral processing approach of choice for mill sulphide concentrate, thereby\nfacilitating processing on-site and eliminating transportation to a smelting\nfacility.\nEnpar is currently in preliminary discussions with senior executives of\ninterested mining companies, seeking to form strategic alliances, joint\nventures, and royalty or licensing agreements.\n\nENPAR is a \"Technology Company\" applying its patented and proprietary\n\"Electrochemical Technologies\" to the treatment of waste water and drinking\nwater contaminated by metals or nutrients i.e., nitrate/ammonia associated\nwith the mining, metal processing, chemical, agricultural, municipal and waste\nmanagement sectors.
