[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nOPTIONS GRANTED TO CONSULTANTS\n\n\nGUELPH, ON, Dec. 22 /CNW/ - Dr. Gene Shelp, President and CEO of ENPAR\nTechnologies Inc. is pleased to welcome Mr. Ram Narayanan as a Market\nDevelopment Consultant to the Company.\n\n\nMr. Narayanan has over 31 years in the water industry and with wastewater\ntreatment technologies and equipment. He is presently a partner and Executive\nVice President in The Reservoir Fund, a New York based Company dedicated to\ninvestments in the water sector.\n\n\nPrior to joining the Reservoir Fund he was Vice President of the Water\nTreatment Division of Layne Christensen Company, with responsibility for\nintegrated ground water services. He also served as Executive Director of\nStrategic Planning for Aqua-Chem Inc., a Wisconsin-based company involved in\nthermal desalination and water purification.\n\n\nMr. Narayanan founded and successfully managed the growth of two\nindustrial wastewater and potable water treatment companies that were\nsubsequently acquired by U.S. Filter and American Colloid. He gained his early\nexperience as Manager of Project Engineering and Construction with Calgon\nCarbon Corporation and has a BA degree in Chemical Engineering from Madras\nUniversity and a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from New York University.\n\n\nManagement believes that Mr. Narayanan will play an important role in the\noverall marketing of the Company's suite of state-of-the-art water treatment\ntechnologies.\n\n\nENPAR announces that it has agreed to grant options to two consultants\nfor an aggregate of 300,000 options. The options are exercisable at a price of\n$0.25 per share for a period of up to two years.
