[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n Addendum to the Agreement Adds Nine New States\n\nTORONTO, May 4 /CNW/ -- ComnetiX(TM) Inc (TSX: CXI), a leading\nprovider of biometric identification and authentication solutions, announced\nthat it has signed an addendum to its agreement with privately held,\nNashville, TN-based Integrated Biometric Technology, LLC (\"IBT\"). Under the\naddendum to the agreement, ComnetiX will provide fingerprinting services to\nprime contractor IBT for new applicants and renewals of IBT's contract with\nthe TSA, which calls for fingerprinting all Hazmat endorsed commercial\ndrivers' licenses in nine additional states. Those states include Colorado,\nConnecticut, Idaho, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Oregon and\nWyoming. As a subcontractor to IBT for the TSA HazMat driver program,\nComnetiX fingerprinting services will now be offered to HazMat endorsees\nthrough IBT in 21 states. The original agreement between ComnetiX and IBT was\nannounced on April 6th, 2005.\nCharles Carroll, President of IBT, said \"ComnetiX has proven to be a\nvaluable partner in rolling out the HazMat program with us in many states\nalready, and therefore it was only natural for us to extend our relationship\nby expanding the geographic scope of services that we want ComnetiX to provide\nfor us under HazMat.\"\nJames P. Scullion, ComnetiX CEO, said, \"With this addendum to our\nagreement with IBT that is already in place, ComnetiX will operate in more\nthan one-half of the states that have awarded IBT the exclusive contract to\nprocess HazMat endorsees in the particular state. As one of IBT's premier\npartners in the HazMat program, we're very happy to extend the geographic\nscope of our services and we look forward to a solid and fruitful\nrelationship.\"\nIBT was awarded a master contract by the Transportation Security\nAdministration in December 2004 for 33 states and the District of Columbia.\nThe original agreement, dated April 6th, 2005, with ComnetiX provided for the\nprovision of fingerprinting services to HazMat endorsees in the states of\nAlaska, Arizona, California, Delaware, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Nebraska,\nNevada, New Hampshire, Utah and Washington.\nThe HazMat program requires all 3.5 million hazardous material truck\ndrivers to undergo a fingerprint criminal background check and terrorist watch\nlist search upon application f...
