The\nservice is fully compliant with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Real\nTime Identification (RTID) Project.\nAccording to John Conohan, ComnetiX VP Fingerprinting Services Canada, the\nbalance of the market is split among 15 vendors that provide similar services.\nComnetiX processes approximately 70,000 fingerprints annually for more than\n200 immigration lawyers and consultants and roughly 50 private corporations.\nThe service is used to screen for a wide range of reasons, from applications\nfor employment, immigration, citizenship and foreign visas, to international\nadoptions of children. They are also used by those seeking criminal pardons\nand US waivers for entry into the United States, and by companies seeking US\nfederal government contracts.\n\"ComnetiX continues to take a very pro-active approach to implementing our\ntechnology solutions, both externally and internally,\" commented Conohan. \"We\nhave transformed our fingerprinting services business unit from an\nink-and-roll operation into a high performance, state-of-the-art business\nservice.
