TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Information disclosed in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.6

CT UK Capital and Income Investment Trust PLC (the Company) announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each on the London Stock Exchange through Cavendish Securities plc to be held in treasury.

Following the above transaction, the Company holds 12,953,552 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 94,335,470 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is now 94,335,470 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
