A seasoned technology\nindustry executive with more than fifteen years of technology experience in\nbusiness development, venture capital and corporate and intellectual property\nlaw, Kissane has proven expertise in developing global partnerships and\nnegotiating significant mergers and acquisitions. In his new role, Kissane\nwill lead Corel's overall corporate and business development function,\ntargeting new acquisition prospects and strategic partnerships that will\nexpand Corel's global reach, product portfolio and profitability. Kissane will\nreport to David Dobson, Corel's Chief Executive Officer.\n\nKissane brings established global credentials in mergers and acquisitions\nand partner development to the Corel executive team. Prior to joining Corel,\nKissane was an Associate and a Kauffman Fellow at Centennial Ventures, a\nleading venture capital firm backed by a $341 million fund. Kissane also\nserved as Vice President of Business Development at Viafone where he\nnegotiated complex global licensing agreements, led partnership formation and\nmarketing initiatives, and assisted the founders in raising venture financing.\nKissane has also held senior positions at The Boston Consulting Group and\nworked at Weil, Gotshal and Manges, a leading New York-based law firm.\n\nKissane holds degrees from both Stanford University and Harvard Law\nSchool.
