[{"type":"text","content":"\n\nCreo Medical Group plc\n(\"Creo\" the \"Company\" or the \"Group\")\n \nSpeedboat™ Inject selected by NICE for assessment\n \nCreo Medical Group plc (AIM: CREO), the medical device company focused on the emerging field of surgical endoscopy, announces that the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (\"NICE\") has selected Speedboat Inject to be scoped and routed for guidance in respect of the endoscopic submucosal dissection (\"ESD\") of lower gastrointestinal (\"GI\") lesions. \n \nThis selection follows a committee review of headline data and initiates a multi-step process whereby Speedboat's lower GI ESD clinical and economic evidence, along with other data, is evaluated by NICE and, if appropriate, may result in a specific NICE output such as Medical Technologies Guidance.\n \nNICE selected Speedboat Inject for scoping and routing because it \"anticipate[s] the topic will be of importance to patients, carers, professionals, commissioners and the health of the public to ensure clinical benefit is realised, inequalities in use addressed, and help them make the best use of NHS resources\".\n \nMore information on Speedboat's guidance development can be found here.\n \nCraig Gulliford, CEO of Creo Medical, said: \"We are delighted that Speedboat Inject has reached this stage with NICE and the validation this provides given the progress we are already making in the UK.
