[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 1771R Craneware plc 27 April 2009 \n \nCraneware plc\n('Craneware' or the 'Company')\n\nAppointment of Non-executive Director\n\n27 April 2009 - Craneware plc, (AIM: CRW.L), a leader in financial improvement software solutions for the US healthcare market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ron Verni as Non-executive Director with immediate effect.\n\nMr. Verni, aged 60, was most recently CEO of Corrigo, Inc., a leading Software as a Service (SAAS) company focused on the service sector. Prior to this he was President & CEO of Sage Software, Inc, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Sage Group, plc. Under his leadership, the company grew from less than $160 million in revenue to over $1 billion, from under 1,000 employees to over 5,000, and from 1 million business customers to over 2.5 million. During his time with Sage he also engineered over 20 acquisitions and oversaw their successful integration into the company. \n\nRon Verni, Non-Executive Director of Craneware commented, 'With US healthcare institutions coming under increasing fiscal and legislative pressure, the potential for Craneware's financial improvement software solutions appears to be considerable.
